Our new catalogue interface has launched this morning, but not without some minor issues.  We are working with our library system provider to resolve them and hopefully will have most of them fixed by this time tomorrow.
Problems we have noted include:

From Monday 12th October, you will see a new look library catalogue. The screen you see will look different, and has been designed to have a similar look and feel to the library website.

Also, some of the wording has changed. For example, to access your library card, you will click on the link 'My Library Card'.

The 10,000 Steps program is giving you the chance to win one of two 3 month full access memberships to use at Casey RACE and Casey ARC.

The 2009 Green Light Report is a Victorian Government initiative to provide insight into the environmental attitudes, behaviours and household features of Victorians. It was commissioned by Sustainability Victoria.

This year's Report also reports specifically on 15 local areas across Victoria.

Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation recently published it's Library Plan 2009-2013.

This Library Plan establishes the direction for developing and improving CCLC’s services for the next four years.

It is a major part of the Corporation’s planning framework. It is a requirement under Section 125 of the Local Government Act 1989 and forms the primary planning document for delivering library services.

Judge - Patricia Sykes

Patricia Sykes is an award-winning poet, and a librettist. Her first

collection of poetry, Wire Dancing, arose out of her experiences as a

performer with the Women's Circus and was shortlisted for the Anne Elder

and Mary Gilmore awards

The 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission was established on 16 February to investigate the causes and responses to the bushfires which swept through parts of Victoria in late January and February 2009.

The Interim Report makes 51 recommendations and is the culmination of six months’ work, including four weeks of community consultations; examination of more than 1,260 submissions and eight weeks of public hearings involving a total of 87 witnesses.

Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation provides content to our users via our website and five blogs, of which this is one.

We know how many people subscribe to each blog and how often they are visited each month, but don't know how the information is accessed or used.
