With Find my Past, you can search over 50 million records for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands – millions of records that you won’t find available elsewhere online, including:
*a limited number of records are not available in this subscription for contractual reasons, including the British Newspaper collection.
Please note that due to licensing restrictions, Find my Past, is only available in our libraries – through a library PC or using library WiFi on your own device, for new searches. However, viewed records can be later accessed through a user account – see below.
Users also have the ability to register their own accounts and sign in, by registering, your users will also gain access to the My Research area which will enable them to keep track of their researches and use the family tree program to build their family tree. Users can register their own account at the following page – https://www.findmypast.com.au/account/register.
• The same features that you get in the library (free Family Tree, Saved Records etc) – no features are removed
• Access to any records that you view from within the library – even after you have left! All records that your customers view via Findmypast in the library can be viewed again for free when they sign in to their account
