Family Fun – Friday Night Film And Games At The Pakenham Library

First Friday of every month in 2022.

Family movies, games and challenges are a great way to start the weekend at the Pakenham Library. Together you can enjoy a family friendly movie, play board games and GIANT GAMES, or participate in family challenges. Join friends and families for the fun.

First Friday of every month at 7pm, starting in 2022

Looking to expand your reading and meet other book lovers? Join our Friday evening book group! Each month, members catch up and discuss a different title, provided by the library. The group is led by a staff member, so feel free to join in!

Pakenham Library works with Ultimate Asian Supermarket to provide FREE hot meals made with love Every Friday night to serve our community. An opportunity to come and enjoy healthy seasonal food, good company and the chance to meet new people.

Girl’s Night In Journal Writing Workshop Presented By Speaker And Wellbeing Coach Ingrid Jones

 Friday 15th July at 7pm, Pakenham Library

We will explore a transformational 5-step way of journaling. You will learn a practical tool that will:

*Take the thinking out of ‘how to journal’ with an easy to follow guided framework
*Allow you to let go of what’s on your mind
*Dive a little deeper to explore what’s going on
*Discover a gift and be empowered to take action

Participants will be guided by a qualified life-coach and receive an overview of the complete 5-Step process.

Kokedama/Knot Pot Workshop

Friday 22nd July at 6.30 pm, Pakenham Library

Kokedamas are naturally beautiful, easy to care for and hand-made from sustainable materials, designed to bring beauty and life into any space.

In this workshop, you will be provided with all the materials and guidance to create your very own unique kokedama plant.

Workshop Facilitator Kaylie will share tips and techniques including her “Knot Pot” wrapping style, which brings a neat and modern twist to the centuries old Japanese practice.

This workshop is perfect for any experience level. Kaylie’s vibrant and warm personality creates an engaging space where participants are encouraged to go at their own pace and find joy in creating their own living masterpiece.
