Established in 1961 as the Shire of Berwick Historical Society, this Society operates a Museum containing objects, photographs and documents about the Berwick and Pakenham districts. The Museum is located on the Princes Highway in the Old Shire of Berwick Offices at Pakenham (entry is from the service road from James Street) and is open to the public on Sunday afternoons 2.00 to 4.30.

The Koo Wee Rup Swamp Historical Society Museum contains objects, photographs and documents relating to the town and the surrounding Koo Wee Rup Swamp. The Museum is located at 325 Rossiter Road, corner Henry Street, in Koo Wee Rup. Opening hours are Sunday afternoons 1:30 to 4:30. Closed last 2 weeks of December and January. This group are responsible for a growing collection of documents and photographs relating to the history of Lang Lang and surrouding area. They operate a Museum in the old Infant Welfare Centre, Westernport Road, Lang Lang, which is open Sunday afternoons from 1.00 to 4.00.
