Financial Donations

Make a difference to your local library service.

At Connected Libraries we believe in the power of community. We believe in every persons right to knowledge and resources. Libraries are not just a place to discover stories but a place where people can come together to connect, create and thrive. With your support, we can continue to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

Connected Libraires has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, meaning any financial donation is deductible from the donors income tax.

Your Donation Matters
Every donation, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals.

Whether it’s providing resources for Storytimes, Lego programs or STEAM Club, supporting the diverse community in the City of Casey, or contributing to better access to technology – your generosity directly supports Casey residents.

Why Donate?
Support stronger, inclusive and more resilient communities
Support growth and development of women in the Casey community
Enhance early literacy outcomes

Resource Donations

Items must be:
In near-new (excellent) condition
Contain current/relevant information
Meet community demand
Compliment the library’s balanced collection of Fiction and Non-fiction titles

Connected Libraries reserves the right to:
Allocate donated material to any collection or branch across the region
Reject donations of unsuitable materials and donate them to charities

Connected Libraries cannot accept donations of audio-visual material as content standard cannot be readily ascertained.
Connected Libraries are unable to return items that are not added to our collection.

As an alternative to the library, local Op Shops are generally happy to accept such donations.
