Casey Cardinia Libraries acknowledges the role it has with Child Safety in our community. In particular Casey Cardinia Libraries is committed to:

recognising the importance of respecting and defending children and youth in our community.
understanding the importance of providing staff with a clear policy on child safety in our libraries and community
placing a high level of importance on the participation and empowerment of young people because by empowering and allowing participation it serves to protect children and create stronger communities
being a Child Safe organisation, who will consciously and systematically observe child safety, supported by all staff.
