Calling all Curious Creatures and Wild Minds. Time to let your creativity shine! To help us celebrate CBCA Book Week we are giving you the chance to have your design on our bookmarks. Dust off those pencils, pick up those paints and show us your artistic flair. Click here to enter!
Writing and Illustrating with Andrew Plant
Monday 19 October, 4-5pm
Come and celebrate Book Week with local author and illustrator, Andrew Plant in this online workshop! Andrew has been illustrating children’s books for years. Dinosaurs, bugs and quirky critters, he is no stranger to crafting “Curious Creatures”. Join him as he shares his new book Jump! and shows you how to draw crazy critters to put into your next story! Ages 8-14. This is an online event and will be held on Zoom.
Online Picture Book Workshop with Sue DeGennaro

Have you ever wondered how a picture book gets made? Join us for some creativity as Sue shows us the steps to bringing a picture book to life! Sue is the author and illustrator of some of Australia’s favourite picture books including The Pro’s and Con’s of being a Frog and Missing Marvin. Her most recent book, We’re Stuck is shortlisted for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year 2020.
