Casey Cardinia Libraries are excited to announce Cranbourne Library will get a much-needed facelift thanks to a funding boost from the State Government and the City of Casey.
The library will receive $51,000 from the State Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program, and the City of Casey will allocate an additional $34,000 to support the project.
The funding will go towards an upgrade of our entrance foyer and improving customer service and public computer areas.
Casey Cardinia Libraries Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chris Buckingham said he was delighted that the City of Casey and the State Government have committed to improvements for the Cranbourne Library.
“The Cranbourne community love their library and we want them to have access to a friendly, welcoming space where they can gather, learn and grow,” said Mr. Buckingham.
Construction will start in November and is expected to be completed in April 2019.
