Online tutoring help for adults and students

Your library is not only there with the resources you need for work or play, but also with FREE one-on-one help online, with study, job searching, learning English and much more.

Your Tutor is an online service for students, from years 4 to 12 & TAFE, which offers one-on-one help.

Subject areas covered include: 

  • English skills and concepts
  • Essay and report feedback, including history and humanities
  • Maths  
  • Specialist and  Extension Science - (including Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
  • Assignment and project research
  • Study skills
  • Economics
  • Business Studies
  • Commerce

Once you log in with your library card, you choose your year level and subject and are connected online with a tutor who will help, with the use of chat, file uploading and website sharing.

The service is open Monday to Friday, 4pm - 8pm during school terms from the library website (under Online Resources). All you need is your current library card to log in.

For adults, Lifelong Learning offers on-demand maths, writing, learning English and job-skills help for adult learners.
