Music downloads don't have to cost you money, your free library card will do the trick.

Your library card gives you access to  Freegal, the Sony Music back catalogue. You can download MP3s of any songs produced by the Sony Music Corporation and its subsidiaries (3 per week) and you can keep them!  And its not just songs either, Freegal has MP3s of famous speeches.
