A collection of Persian, Dari and Farsi titles, including books, magazines and DVDs is now available at Narre Warren Library for library members to borrow.
It is made up of novels and information materials across a range of subjects, from cooking, history and travel to poetry.
The collection was launched at a morning tea on Wednesday 23 March, which was attended by members of the local Dari community as well as other honoured guests.
Items are available to browse at Narre Warren Library, but can also be put on hold through the library catalogue for pick-up at other libraries.
Library staff will continue to work with the local community to add more new titles to the collection.
