From July 1 2015 you are now able to borrow directly from any library in the Swift Consortium with your existing library card.
Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation library card is now a Swift One Card and may be used to borrow items, request holds for pickup and pay outstanding bills at any public library branch that is part of the Swift Library Consortium network in Victoria. You will not need to replace your existing card, or register separately at any of the participating Swift Consortium libraries.
If you only have a membership with Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation you do not need to do anything. You can just start using your card at any Swift Library.
If you have a membership card at more than one Swift Library, on your next visit to the library, staff will ask you to choose your main card - that will become your "Swift One Card." You can choose to keep other cards, but only for accessing each library's online resources. Your One Card will be your borrowing card at any Swift Library.
No matter where you travel throughout Victoria – whether you are holidaying along the Murray, visiting regional centers, or spending time in the City - you are sure to find a Swift One Card library nearby.
If you choose to use your card at any of the Swift One Card libraries, be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules of the libraries that you borrow from as that library's rules will apply to those loans.
For more information, and a list of participating Swift One Card libraries, check out the Swift Library Consortium website at http://swiftconsortium.org.au.
All participating libraries are committed to safeguarding your privacy in accordance with State and Federal legislation.
