We have launched our iMacs at Cranbourne Library and will launch at Narre Warren next week.
Each branch has two iMacs for library members to use, for high-end graphics, audio and movie editing. These new machines will be of particular benefit to secondary and tertiary students, but will be available to all library members who like making and editing their movies, images and audio.
They feature: 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory, four user-accessible USB slots, 3TB Fusion Drive and software installed includes:
- Adobe Creative Suite 6
Bookings can be made for a two hour session per day and only by library members. Bookings can be made up to two days in advance, but only through library staff.
This is the first in a series of technology/software installations, which are part of the CCLC's Library Plan for 2013-14. Watch this space for more coming soon!
