Genealogy

Researching your ancestry can sometimes feel like trying to find a needle in a haystack. The Library has a great range of genealogical resources to assist your research, including microfiche, CD-ROMS, books, magazines, free Internet use and the Casey-Cardinia Local History Archive, which is housed at the Narre Warren Library.

How to find the material you need

A wide variety of material is available either for loan, for access inside the library, or via the Internet.

Assistance and access to the Local History Archive

The Casey-Cardinia Local History Archive is a treasure trove of community heritage with files on families, community buildings, historic homes and much, much more.
