Over 3,000 titles in a range of genres and for all ages, are available for download, from classic titles to newer releases.
  • Download up to 4 titles of each format (e-books, e-audiobooks) per fortnight.
  • Two week loan.  
  • Place holds and you will notified when the title is available for download.
  • They can be downloaded to your computer or laptop, but for ebooks you will need to install the free Adobe Digital Editions, which requires a separate download and login. You can also transfer the e-book to an e-reader.
  • The BorrowBox app is available free for mobile devices such as iPads, tablets and smart phones - it can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
  • You can return items early or cancel holds - through the app or on the website (not through Adobe Digital Editions).

Bolinda titles can NOT be downloaded to Kindles or Kindle Fires - due to Amazon's licensing restrictions.

e-books from Axis 360

Library collections staff have selected a wide range of titles, including a good range of both fiction and non-fiction titles. There is something available for all ages and for a variety of interests.

  • Download up to 4 e-books per fortnight
  • Two week loan.  
  • Place holds and you will notified when the title is available for download. 
  • There is a Windows app for desktop computers or laptops (Mac coming soon) but you will need to install the free Adobe Digital Editions, which requires a separate download and login if you want to transfer titles to an e-reader. 
  • The Axis 360 app is available free for mobile devices such as iPads, tablets and smart phones - it can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play
  • You can returns items early (after five days loan) and cancel holds at anytime, on the website or on the App (not through Adobe Digital Editions).

Axis360 titles can NOT be downloaded to Kindles - due to Amazon's licensing restrictions, unless it is a Kindle Fire or Kindle HD.

Zinio digital magazinese-magazines from Zinio

We now have over 130 magazine titles, with the latest issue FREE for you to read through Zinio, the world's largest newsstand.

Includes both Australian and international titles, for a range of ages and interests.

Choice magazine online through Flipster

CHOICE Magazine has been helping consumers make better purchasing decisions since it was established in 1959.Choice magazine

It's packed with the latest consumer news, in-depth investigations, and a selection of our latest product tests and reviews in easy-to-read tables, from baby furniture and dishwashers to TV streaming services.

Access Choice free online through your library.  Read it through a browser and if not in the library, use your library card number to login. If you like, you can opt to read if offline using the Flipster app.  (you MUST access Choice through the library website on a browser first, then go to the menu and select Open in App for offline reading.)

Back issues can be accessed through the current issue.  Open the current magazine through a web browser, then at right click on All Issues and click on the issue you want to access.

Comics Plus

Comics Plus is a digital collection of over 13,000 comics and graphic novels, including over 4,000 from DC Comics.

Access is free to library users with a current library card.

Comics PlusComics Plus comes from the same company that has given us Zinio e-magazines, so some of the same conditions apply.

  • Unlimited access to all titles
  • No limits on checkout
  • Titles available for all ages
  • Register once, then use email and password (if already registered with Zinio, you use the same login details)

However, other conditions include:

  • Titles are accessible for one week only 
  • Titles are streamed, not downloaded, but are accessible through any web browser software

New issues and publications will be added weekly.

There is content for a wide variety of ages - up to age 17 - please be aware of this content for younger users

There are no apps for this service at this time - access is only streamed and only through a web browser with a live internet connection.
