Hampton Park Library Extension

Work has begun on the Hampton Park Library Extension and the new Youth Centre, with the fencing off of the construction site.  The new building works will fill the space between the current library building and the Arthur Wren Hall next door and is expected to be completed by March/April 2010.

The extra library space, which will be 270 square metres will add additional space for collections, study, public computers and a teenage area. It will have the same look and feel as the current library, but will include additional features such as computer games consoles.
